“We want to help people in our congregation who need support because of age. Several people are slowing down or experiencing memory issues. Most have loving children, so we do not want to interrupt that. As a congregation, we want to do our part without injuring their pride.”

“Like many churches, we hope families with children will become part of our congregation. But we also recognize that this is not our current reality. The people already present are aging, slowing down, and sometimes feeling overwhelmed. At the same time, they continue to carry valuable gifts, experience, faith, and a desire to serve. We need help seeing and building up the people God has already placed among us instead of waiting for a different congregation to arrive.”
