Finding Joy in the Journey

Caregiving often asks us to focus on the needs of others. While that is important, we also need moments that renew our own hearts. Joy is not something we earn after all our responsibilities are finished. It is something we intentionally make room for along the way. Whether it comes through music, nature, creativity, laughter, friendships, or quiet moments of peace, joy helps restore our spirit so we can continue caring for others.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of joy. Thank You for music, laughter, friendships, beauty, and the simple moments that refresh our hearts. Help me make time for the things that renew my spirit instead of always putting them aside. Teach me that caring for myself is part of caring for others. May my life reflect the joy You desire for me, and may that joy become an encouragement to everyone I meet. In Jesus' name, Amen.
