Today marked only my second Mighty Caregivers on the Road adventure. I pointed my car toward Minneola, Florida, to attend a food truck fundraiser at Unforsaken Treasures Resale Shop. The event was sponsored by Your Home Rescue, a local company helping provide meals for people in need.
What I enjoy most about Caregivers on the Road is that every stop creates an opportunity to connect with people and hear their stories. This event was no different. As people gathered around the food truck, there was a sense of community, friendship, and caring. We shared a meal, caught up with one another, and talked about the good work being done throughout South Lake County.
I traveled to an event where people gathered to lovingly feed and pray with members of our community. I had the opportunity to reconnect with people from I Am A Safe Place, Rose of Sharon Ministries, and…
